Classroom Rules
Consequences:
Star Punches:
The Parent-Student Handbook is a great resource for school procedures, rules and general information. The yellow/orange behavior expectations form sent home on Back to School night that requires both a student and parent signature asks that you read carefully through the handbook with your student.

- Raise your hand
- Listen carefully when others are talking and follow directions
- Use kind words
Consequences:
Star Punches:
- To reward good behavior and hard work, I will be giving out “star punches”. Each student will start with a punch card at the beginning of the year. When he/she fills up the punch card with 10 punches, they may choose a prize from the Star Reward bin.
- When a student misbehaves, they will receive a “call”.
- 1st call: a warning.
- 2nd call: the student must take a timeout in the classroom and fill out a reflection slip. If there are no more calls throughout the day, the reflection slip is filed.
- 3rd call: the student must take the reflection slip home and have it signed by Mom/Dad/Guardian.
- 4th call: Quiet room referral.
- 5th call: Major referral form - see Mr. Arola or Mrs. Lorsung.
